Kennel Assistant

We are looking for a hard working, reliable individual to work at our busy dog show kennels which is located near Ipswich in Suffolk, United Kingdom. You must be able to speak good conversational English - this is essential as you will have to deal with customers. Duties include cleaning kennels and dog rooms, walking dogs, feeding dogs, assisting with dog matings and delivery of puppies, and meeting potential customers and buyers. Bathing and grooming dogs. We also have other animals which require looking after which include a horse, goats and chickens. Self contained live in accommodation (private bedroom, shared bathroom, dining room, kitchen and living area) is provided free of charge as you must live in. You will work alongside another kennel assistant from Czech Rep.who you will share the accommodation with. You must love dogs, be able to follow instructions but also work on your own initiative. You will work five long days each week. We are looking for applicants ideally for around 12 months but the position is permanent so is available longer term. We need someone to start as soon as possible and no later than the beginning of January 2016. Great opportunity if you want to work abroad. The salary is £650 a month with an opportunity to earn more once experienced in the job.
